Molinaseca

POI

Church of St. Nicholas of Bari
Of Neoclassical style, dating from the seventeenth century, it stands on a hill that dominates the town in a stately manner. Its baroque altarpieces stand out. The main altarpiece dates from 1672-1674 in Churrigueresque style where the image of San Nicolás de Bari, patron saint of Molinaseca, can be found. Of great importance is the carving of the Gothic Christ of the Atonement of the fourteenth century, for some the most important of the region of El Bierzo.
