Pedro José Fonte
Linares de Mora
POI

Linares de Mora saw the birth in 1777 of Pedro José Fonte, who became archbishop of Mexico. His legacy lives on in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, to which he sent funds from America, and in the school that today bears his name. An example of solidarity, he organized aid for Zaragoza during the War of Independence. To visit his town is to travel through the landscape that inspired this world figure.
