Paseo de Alonso Andrea
Ledesma
POI

This place, located within the walled enclosure, combines rest areas with renovated gardens, in addition to housing two of the most representative buildings of Ledesmino's heritage: the Alhóndiga and the old Hospital of San José. It is a privileged enclave from which to contemplate one of the best panoramic views of the town: in the foreground you can see the mountain range, the river, the bridges, the hermitage of the Virgen del Carmen... and a little further on you can see the typical landscape of the Salamanca pasture, one of the best preserved and sustainable Mediterranean ecosystems. The name comes from a character ledesmino that the chronicles consider possible inspiration for Cervantes in the creation of Don Quixote.
