MULTIEXPERIENCIA
The Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Peña de Francia, in the municipality of El Cabaco, is an imposing 15th century building that houses a monastery and a guest house founded by the Benedictines, today managed by the Dominican order. An image found, according to legend, by Simón Vela in a nearby grotto in 1434 is venerated in the church. The whole is organized around a square of the 18th century presided over by a jurisdictional roll. Highlights include the 15th-century convent door, the Chapel of La Blanca - erected over the cave of the discovery - and the Balcón de Santiago, visible from the porch that connects the two buildings.
