The Museums of Castell de Guadalest

Castell de Guadalest has an Ethnological Museum that displays a permanent exhibition on the daily life of its inhabitants during the sixteenth to twentieth centuries, as well as an extensive collection of antique weapons. The reconstruction of a typical house, from the 18th century, shows the work tools, household utensils and farm implements characteristic of that time. Lovers of curiosities will enjoy the two museums of miniatures located, one in the Arrabal and the other in the castle district. Both bring together an original exhibition of reproductions on such a small scale that the help of powerful magnifying glasses is needed to admire their masterful execution. In the Museum of Antonio Marco (Bethlehem and Models) a City-Bethlehem is shown, as well as numerous models of buildings and houses. The Casa Orduña Municipal Museum, which is currently the entrance to the Castle of San José, the Museum of Old Vehicles, the Museum of Torture, the Ribera Girona Museum and the Museum of Salt and Pepper Shakers complete the tourist offer of El Castell de Guadalest.
