The Parc Miner del Maestrat is located in the natural area of "la Fontanella", located about 800 meters above sea level, and allows magnificent panoramic views of the region of Alt Maestrat. A privileged space where you can learn about the ancient subway mining industry, walk through its galleries and learn how those men who left this extraordinary legacy lived and worked. A heritage with great tourist and cultural attraction, an experience for the senses, an exciting adventure, enter the bowels of the earth and discover the secret of the Parc Miner del Maestrat! The Parc Miner del Maestrat is located 3 kilometers from the town of Torre d'En Besora and 8 kilometers from the town of Culla. There are two visitable galleries that correspond to the old mines Victoria, in the municipality of Culla and Esperanza, in the municipality of Torre d'En Besora with a visitable distance of about 2 km. Both are suitable for visits and are equipped with audiovisuals and exhibits to facilitate visitors' understanding of the visit. All visits are conducted with a guide, who provides the pertinent explanations and guides visitors through the interior of the galleries. The guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours and consists of a visit to the two mines: Victoria and Esperanza. The outside route is done with a mining train that connects both mines, while the inside route is done walking inside the galleries. The interior of the galleries is decorated with audiovisuals, holograms and tools of the time, which will take you back to the splendor of the mines, like a miner. Open weekends, holidays, Easter and August from Tuesday to Sunday. In low season we open on weekdays by reservation, for groups and school trips. Opening hours vary according to the time of the year.
