Cudillero, on the shores of Paradise
Cudillero, a small municipality located on the central western coast of Asturias.
It has an incredible landscape, with unique beaches, green valleys, rivers and waterfalls, vertiginous cliffs and half mountain with brañas vaqueiras.
In the municipality three well differentiated cultures are combined:
the mariñana (fishermen and farmers located in the marina)the xalda (villagers of the interior valleys) and in addition,the vaqueira (discriminated shepherds who occupied the highest parts of the mountains).
