Located in the Picos de Europa National Park, this viewpoint offers a spectacular panoramic view of the emblematic Picu Urriellu, the great landmark of Spanish mountaineering. It is located next to Bulnes, a traditional village that preserved its ancient charm thanks to its historical isolation, today connected by funicular. The viewpoint can be reached in a simple 10-minute signposted walk from the village and is part of a short route from Poncebos, integrated in the historic GR-202 trail ("Route of the Reconquest").

Located in the highest area of Bulnes, this viewpoint offers spectacular panoramic views of the imposing Teju channel (the gorge that goes up from Poncebos) and a unique perspective of the traditional roofs of the Villa neighborhood, all framed by the imposing walls of the Picos de Europa.

A short route of just 500 meters by track that connects the two nuclei of the town. This pleasant uphill walk connects the lower part of the village with the historic and elevated Castle district, offering a route surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.

A comfortable and short trail that connects the upper station of the funicular with the heart of Bulnes (the neighborhood of the Villa). It is a fully accessible walk, ideal for families and seniors who wish to enter effortlessly into the charm of this traditional Asturian village.

Bulnes is the ideal starting point for experienced mountaineers looking to get into the Picos de Europa. The demanding ascents through the Canal de Amuesa to the Cabrones refuge, the Canal de Camburero to the mythical Vega de Urriellu, or the ascent to the Collado de Pandébano with connection to Sotres stand out.

A downhill trail that allows you to return to the funicular station from the upper part of the castle closing a circular route. As it is a steep mountain trail, it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or for small children.
