Church of Santa María de Betancuria
The most important building in the municipality. Built in 1410 in French Gothic style, it was destroyed by Barbary pirates in 1593 and rebuilt in the seventeenth century. It mixes Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance and Baroque elements. Seat of the first capital of the Canary Islands.
