The Majestat of Beget
Beget
POI

Inside the church of Sant Cristòfol de Beget we find this exceptional 12th century polychrome walnut wood carving, about two meters high. It is a sculpture hollowed out at the back and with the legs attached and fixed by wooden pegs. During the Civil War it was saved from destruction by the residents of Beget and was sent to Switzerland, from where it returned in 1940.
