Church of Sant Cristòfol (X-XII centuries)

This jewel of the Catalan Romanesque (12th century) is a National Monument. Its imposing four-story bell tower and, inside, the majestic Majesty of Beget, a wood carving of the twelfth century of almost two meters, stand out. It preserves a Baroque altarpiece and a Romanesque baptismal font, forming an exceptional artistic ensemble that has remained virtually intact over the centuries.

Historic center (XII-XIII centuries)

Strolling through Beget is a journey into the past. Its stone houses with Arab tile roofs and wooden balconies sit on the rock, respecting the relief of the land. The village, declared a Historic-Artistic Site, maintains a perfectly preserved medieval architecture where time seems to have stopped, making it one of the most picturesque and authentic nuclei of Catalonia.

Bridges

The town is divided by the passage of two rivers, bridged by two beautiful medieval stone bridges. The most iconic is the New Bridge (14th century), with its characteristic semicircular arch over the Trull River. These structures are not only functional, but complete the idyllic picture of the municipality, connecting the sectors of the old town and offering the best views of the riverbed.
