Ansotano Costume Museum Location : In the old chapel of Santa Barbara, in the street of the same name located in the town of Ansó. Thematic : The Ansotano costume is one of the oldest costumes in Europe, immortalized by painters, engravers, photographers, etc... It fell into disuse at the end of the 70s. In its entirety could be seen a sample in the ethnological museum of the parish church and since 1970 in the Ansotano Costume Day. In 2011 it was declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest and this exhibition space was inaugurated, which shows all its splendor and variety. The museum makes a complete journey through the different stages and transitions in the life of the Ansotanos through their clothing, linked to their daily life and, very relevantly, to the different liturgical events.
