Our Lady of Clemencia Hospital · Ampudia (EN)

Founded in the 15th century by Marshal Pedro García de Herrera. In the current building, from the 19th century, are located the tourist office, an exhibition hall, an exhibition of models made by Sebastián Vaquero and the Museum of Medicine on the second floor, which exhibits more than 200 pieces that the Official College of Physicians of Palencia has been collecting thanks to donations from former members: medical and surgical material, ornaments, diplomas, books, photographs or various technical utensils. It is one of the few museums of these characteristics in the whole national geography.
