Paleontological Museum of Alpuente

Located in the old Hermitage of Santa Barbara, this center exhibits the findings of local deposits, with remains of dinosaurs that inhabited the area 150 million years ago. The visit allows visitors to learn about the work of specialists in the cleaning and recovery of fossils, highlighting the importance of the municipality in the study of the Upper Jurassic.

Torre de la Alhama (City Hall)

This building is a key testimony of the administrative organization of the Villa. Of Islamic defensive origin, it became the seat of the civil government and a meeting place for the Kingdom's Courts in the 14th and 15th centuries. Its ashlar structure and the main entrance arch represent one of the most representative architectural ensembles of the Valencian historical heritage.

Walled Enclosure and Castle of Alpuente

The ruins of the fortress sit on the large rock that crowns the town, marking the site of what was once an independent Taifa capital. The tour of its walls allows us to interpret the defensive topography of the town and enjoy a complete view of the natural environment, essential to understand the strategic position of the enclave during the Reconquest.
