El Coll Baix

Coll Baix is one of the most unique coves in Mallorca, a gift for nature lovers in its purest state. It is located about 12 kilometers from Alcúdia in the area of Cabo Pinar. It can only be reached by boat or by taking a short excursion, part of the journey can be done by car, although the last stretch can only be done walking along a narrow road to the seashore and the duration will be about half an hour. As we get closer we can see through the pine trees what awaits us below: an unspoiled beach surrounded by high vertical stone walls. This beach is about 250 meters long of coarse, tan-colored sand, mixed with pebble stones; and about 75 meters wide. Its waters are of an amazing turquoise color. It is a place where usually anchor pleasure boats and also small tourist ferries.
