Bullring

Plaza de Toros The bullring of Alcudia was built in 1892 in the "Baluart de Sant Ferran". This bastion was part of the structure of the Renaissance wall built in the seventeenth century and we can still see the sentry box, as it was a bastion of military defense. Based on this fact, we would be talking about the oldest bullring in Mallorca, with a capacity of 1,037 seats. In Alcúdia two big annual bullfights were held, coinciding with the local festivities of July 25th (Sant Jaume) and August 15th (Mare de Déu d'Agost).
