The MOST BEAUTIFUL VILLAGES IN SPAIN ASSOCIATION will process the information provided by Users in each section of the website for the following purposes:

• ONLINE STORE: The data requested in the online store purchase form will be used to manage purchases made, supply the products purchased, and perform related administrative tasks.

• REGISTRATION IN THE BUSINESS NETWORK: The data provided by establishments that register in the association's business network will be processed for the provision of the contracted promotional service and related administrative tasks.

• CONTESTS OR EVENTS: The data provided by users who participate in contests or events organized by the association will be used to manage their participation and carry out the organizational and/or administrative tasks necessary for the proper conduct of such contests or events.

• NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTION: The data collected will be processed for the purpose of sending newsletters and current news related to our activity that may be of interest to Users.

• SOCIAL NETWORKS: The personal data available on social media profiles, as well as those provided by users through this channel, will be processed in order to respond to queries, requests or petitions received, manage interactions with social profiles, and create a community of followers.

PROCESSING OF THIRD-PARTY DATA

If the User provides us with third-party data, they declare that they have the consent of said third parties and undertake to pass on the information contained in this Privacy Policy to them, exempting the ASSOCIATION OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VILLAGES IN SPAIN from any liability in this regard.

DATA RETENTION CRITERIA

2. MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE USER

The various forms available on the website are marked with an asterisk (*) to indicate which data is mandatory and, therefore, is essential for us to process your query or request. If the User does not provide this data, we will not be able to respond to your request adequately.

4. MOBILE APPLICATION "PUEBLOS MÁS BONITOS DE ESPAÑA" (MOST BEAUTIFUL VILLAGES IN SPAIN) – USE OF LOCATION

The official mobile application of Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España (on Google Play and the App Store) uses location data for the following purposes:

• Foreground location: to show the villages closest to your position, calculate distances and routes, and improve the map and search experience. This feature is used while the application is in use.

• Background location (optional): if the user expressly activates this option in the app's Settings, the app can use background location to detect when you are near a village in the network (less than 2 km away). In this case, the app displays a welcome notification and records the visit and associated points in your account. The user can disable this feature at any time from their profile in the app.

Location data is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes. It is used solely for the features described and for the proper functioning of the digital visitor passport and points system. Users can revoke location permissions from their device settings.
