OLIVENTINE HOLY WEEK
The Olivencia Holy Week has a special singularity derived from the conjunction of the Lusitanian and Castilian rites, which is manifested in its rich gastronomy, in traditions of Portuguese origin such as the arruchão or the panderinha and in the existence of more modern brotherhoods, founded in the 20th century, and other very old ones, such as the Brotherhood of the Santa Casa de Misericordia and the Real Archicofradía del Señor de los Pasos (Royal Archconfraternity of the Lord of the Steps).
