Starting at midnight on Maundy Thursday, the procession begins from the sacristy with the sound of the shearing, followed by the bassoon and the drum. Three penitents, dressed in black and with their faces covered, advance slowly and silently, keeping a distance between them that prevents them from seeing each other, creating an atmosphere of great recollection and solemnity.
