Rules of Use:
This beach is located within the Natura 2000 Special Area of Conservation (SAC) Sierra de Cabrera-Bédar (ES6110006).
Specifically, in accordance with Law 7/2023 of March 28 on the Protection of Animal Rights and Welfare, any person entering the designated and marked area for animal use and enjoyment must:
1. Be the owner and/or person responsible for the animal, carrying the required identification documentation.
2. Ensure the dog is microchipped and registered in the Autonomous Community’s Pet Registry, and that it is properly dewormed and vaccinated.
3. Dogs using the beach must be kept on a leash and under control at all times, at least while they remain on the land portion of the beach, to avoid disturbing wildlife.
4. No waste of any kind may be left on the beach or in its vicinity, and dog feces must be picked up and disposed of in appropriate bags in the trash cans provided for that purpose.
5. In the case of PPP breeds (potentially dangerous dogs), the owner must carry the dog’s license and the identification and registration document designating the animal as a PPP. Additionally, the dog must wear a muzzle appropriate for its breed and be kept on a non-extendable leash or chain (max. 1 meter).
6. Respect the designated area marked for animal use.
7. On this beach, fishing, camping, and/or overnight stays, as well as the lighting of bonfires, campfires, or open fires, and all activities covered by the Municipal Beach Ordinance are prohibited.
Important to know: As this beach is classified as a dog-friendly beach, it is excluded from the official list of bathing waters. Swimming is at the swimmer’s own risk.
