Cheese Fair 2026

On April 24 and 25, Llerena hosted the first edition of the Cheese Fair.

Organized by the local association Feria del Queso, the event brought together producers from Extremadura and various regions across Spain.

It was an event where locals and visitors alike could enjoy the most authentic flavors. A celebration that brought together tradition, culture, and craftsmanship in a unique atmosphere, where artisanal cheeses and local products took center stage.

The 1st Cheese Fair was the perfect occasion to discover, savor, and enjoy the work of local producers, featuring tastings, an exhibition, and the sale of the most exquisite products.

The event also coincided with the 24th King Jayón Route. Hikers participating in the trek through the Southern Countryside concluded their experience at Llerena’s Plaza de España, the meeting point for this new gastronomic event.
