This natural enclave is located in the Garganta Naval, where the stream forms a small waterfall that flows into a pool of clean, cool water. The setting, surrounded by vegetation and granite rock, offers a scene that is very characteristic of the La Vera region.
La Chorrera is a place highly valued both for its scenic beauty and for its traditional use as a swimming spot during the summer months, when the water flow allows visitors to enjoy its natural pools.
It is located on the outskirts of Valverde de la Vera, heading toward Talaveruela, next to the EX-203 highway. From the village, take this road and, after about one kilometer, turn off onto the old road next to the Garganta Naval bridge. From there, a short trail leads to the waterfall.
Access is easy and well-maintained, making this an ideal spot to enjoy nature without having to travel far.
During periods of high water flow, the sound and force of the water make La Chorrera a particularly captivating natural spectacle.
