Segura de la Sierra’s trails and its villages (EN)

Segura de la Sierra offers travellers a wealth of attractions to choose from, including nature, history and heritage; the authenticity of its villages scattered across its vast municipal area; and its mountain cuisine, which will delight even the most discerning palates in search of authentic flavours.

Segura de la Sierra, birthplace of the poet Jorge Manrique, is situated in the very heart of the Sierra de Segura, within the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Natural Park, Spain’s largest protected area. Alongside its botanical, faunal and scenic richness, we find a diverse landscape of valleys, limestone outcrops, gorges, mountains and plateaus of great hydrological importance, making Segura one of the most visited and popular natural areas in the country.

We offer six hiking trails suitable, in terms of distance and moderate difficulty, for all nature-loving visitors. On these six trails, hikers can be accompanied by family and friends whilst enjoying nature in its purest form.
