The Thirteen Roses is the collective name given to a group of thirteen young women who were executed by firing squad in Madrid on August 5, 1939, shortly after the end of the Spanish Civil War. They were between the ages of 18 and 29. The enormous media coverage of these events has led to their being told not only on a strictly historical level, but also, transcending boundaries, the story has found its way into the worlds of literature, film, theater, and music...

Estíbaliz Núñez Sánchez is a young woman of Andalusian descent, an actress, author, and director who recently won the Ubú Rey Awards for *13 Rosas*. This young director, who has a deep admiration for flamenco, Latin rhythms, theater, and film, always seeks to create from something real, transforming it into a performance. Recipient of the 2025 Social Enterprise Award and the 2025 AJE Award for her career and social commitment. She has participated in productions of classical, contemporary, and Andalusian anthropological theater. In the audiovisual world, she has worked on films, commercials, short films, and music videos. Passionate about art in all its forms and determined by nature.
