Roberto Nistal, alone on stage, captivates the audience from the very moment he steps onto the stage. He masterfully brings to life the twelve characters created by Fernando de Rojas through movement, vocal ranges, and simple props. Teatro de Robres presents this original and dynamic vision, bringing to life through the great actor Roberto Nistal the greedy complexity of that immortal Celestina who embodies wickedness, cunning, and moral decay, inviting reflection on the society of the time. Moreover, the character—the central figure of Rojas’s work—evokes as much revulsion as fascination, to the point of captivating and moving the audience.
