Pilgrimage to La Concepción

The pilgrimage to the hermitage of La Concepción, patron saint of Briones, is celebrated on Easter Monday of Pentecost, currently it is held the previous Saturday, celebrating this year on May 23, moving the whole town to this beautiful place. Around 11:00 a.m. the mass begins in the Ermita de la Concepción, after the end of the mass, all the assistants sing La Salve in front of the virgin, then, if the weather allows it, everybody goes to the recreational area "La Concepción" to celebrate it with a good lunch with Briones wine. Ideal place to eat outdoors with a natural environment very conducive to spend it with the family, small area equipped with tables, fountain and grill, for the more lively there is the possibility of making the return with a nice walk, in the middle of nature. The morning will be enlivened with good music.
