PRIMILLA BIRDING FESTIVAL 2026

Trujillo will host the Primilla Birding Festival 2026 on May 30 and 31, an event dedicated to birdwatching tourism, urban biodiversity, and raising awareness of the lesser kestrel, a species deeply connected to the city’s historic landscape.

The festival invites you to discover Trujillo from a different perspective: that of its skies, its towers, its rooftops, and its natural surroundings. Throughout the weekend, there will be technical conferences, birdwatching tours, family activities, astro-tourism experiences, workshops, a citizen science BioBlitz, a photography contest, and art and nature events.
