PAST THE CHRIST

This town enjoys several festivals throughout the year, but the most important are in honor of the Cristo de los Remedios. Its festivity is celebrated on the Sunday following May 3 (May cross) and the image is carried in procession from the hermitage to the parish church, and in the Patron Saint festivities, which are celebrated on the Sunday following the September cross (September 14), the image is returned to the hermitage. In them the group of dances accompanies the Christ.

On the occasion of the transfer of the Xto. Christ, the Association of Parents of Students of the locality organizes a cultural week in collaboration with other associations and entities. The cultural week ends on Sunday with folkloric and cultural activities.
