Nuevo Baztán prepares to live its May Festivities in honor of the Holy Christ of Succorro.

The Nuevo Baztán City Council announces the arrival of one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year: the May Festivities in honor of the Santísimo Cristo del Socorro, which will be held from April 30 to May 11. 

The program, organized by the Department of Festivals, includes seven days of activities designed for all ages, from the youngest to the oldest, featuring cultural, musical, and recreational events, as well as initiatives organized by the town’s social clubs. 

During these days, everyone will be able to enjoy live music, dancing, and traditional gatherings such as the migas tasting, in addition to the iconic procession through the Historic District, one of the most representative events of these festivities. 

The fairgrounds will once again serve as a gathering spot for families and young people, featuring various attractions, while festival areas are already taking shape in different parts of the town. The municipal tent in Plaza del Secreto is already set up, and it will be joined by the Seniors’ tent in Plaza de la Fragua and the area for local clubs and Civil Protection in the Municipal Field.
