Nuevo Baztán hosts a day of independent music with "Sesión Vermú" in its Prefiestas

The Nuevo Baztán City Council, in collaboration with the Community of Madrid, will host a unique musical event on Saturday, May 2, as part of the “Sesión Vermú” series, which is included in the town’s pre-festival program. 

The Municipal Tent in Plaza del Secreto will become the gathering place for lovers of independent music, featuring two standout acts from the current scene. 

The event will begin at 12:00 PM with a performance by Patricia Lint. The singer and producer will showcase her distinctive style, which fuses contemporary R&B, lo-fi, and urban sounds, performing tracks from her recent EP “Desgarro.” 

Next, at 2:00 p.m., it will be Laia Alcolea’s turn. The Madrid-based artist—a pianist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist—will offer an intimate concert in which the piano and her voice take center stage, blending influences from pop, jazz, and electronic music. 

Admission to the event will be free, thereby reinforcing the Nuevo Baztán City Council’s commitment to accessible culture and the promotion of high-quality musical offerings. 

The City Council invites all residents, as well as visitors, to enjoy this cultural event, which will enrich the Pre-Festival program and foster community gathering through music. Let’s celebrate “Madrid Community Day” together.
