Goyenechef arrives this Saturday in Nuevo Baztán

This coming Saturday, April 25, the residents of Nuevo Baztán have a date with history and culinary delights. The Nuevo Baztán Interpretation Center is organizing a new session of "Goyenechef: A Journey to the Enlightenment Through Its Kitchens."
In these workshops, we’ll explore the cuisine brought to the Spanish court by foreign queens during the 18th century. It’s a free activity designed to reveal what people ate during the time of Juan de Goyeneche.
On this occasion, the workshop will focus on the figure of Isabel de Farnesio. Participants will be able to immerse themselves in the Italian influences of the era through the preparation and tasting of two classic recipes: Tagliatelle al ragù and Trippa alla Parmigiana.
The session includes a theoretical introduction and historical context provided by Miguel Ángel Almodóvar, followed by a hands-on preparation of the recipes with Juan Manuel Calero and a final tasting.
It will take place on Saturday, April 25, from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and the meeting point is the Nuevo Baztán Interpretation Center (Calle del Arco, 1). Registration is open to anyone 12 years of age or older.
