BOOK FAIR

From April 17 to 19, Ciudad Rodrigo will host the 10th edition of the Fernando Arrabal Book Fair, kicking off on the 17th at 12:00 p.m. at the UNED building with a writing workshop.

At 7:30 p.m., the Palacio de Montarco will kick off the event with the fair’s official opening, featuring a concert by the band Astrolabio and a speech by Juan Francisco Blanco González.

As has become tradition at this time of year, on the morning of Saturday the 18th, starting at 11:00 a.m. in the Activities Tent, there will be a reading of Don Quixote, an activity directed and coordinated by IES Fray Diego Tadeo, accompanied by a concert of Baroque music.

Likewise, throughout the day, Glorieta Park will host various activities for children:

From 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Kennedy Scout Group will host a literary detective game.

From 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Alúa Teatro will organize a scavenger hunt led by Asterix and Obelix.

At 12:00 PM, the "Pasapalabra" quiz will take place in the Afecir tent, featuring questions on literary themes.

At 6:00 PM, storytelling by Carioca in the Municipal Library tent.

All of this will take place with literary authors on hand to sign books for those who visit the Activities Tent.

New this year, we have a tapas tour and a literary adventure.
