Evento: 13 Jun 2026 · 22:30 — 23:50

In the Pyrenees, the beginning of summer is celebrated with an ancestral tradition: the Fallas, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. More than a festival, it is a ritual linked to the sun, nature and the identity of mountain villages.

This celebration is kept alive in towns in France, Catalonia, Aragon and Andorra, with special roots in the Vall de Boí, where every year the fallas descend from the mountain to the village as it has been done for centuries.

The fire, symbol of the sun, has a purifying role and marks the beginning of a new cycle. The fallas, handmade with pine wood, are prepared in community days before the festival, reinforcing the bond between generations.

The night culminates with the descent of the fallaires from the lighthouse to the village, lighting the way with their torches until they reach the square, where the fire becomes a collective celebration. A tradition that unites landscape, culture and emotion in the same living ritual.
