It began as an initiative to revitalize the town and has grown into a well-established tradition that brings together international and national companies, offering dozens of free and paid performances.

Now in its 19th year, the Festival has established itself as a must-see event for families and lovers of the art of puppetry.

It has established itself as a national benchmark, attracting renowned artists such as the Russian puppeteer Victor Antonov and the Argentine company Buenos Aires Títeres.

It combines the magic of puppetry with the town’s historical heritage, utilizing iconic venues such as the Plaza Mayor, the Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana, the Altamira Museum, and La Robleda Park.

In past editions, such as the 2016 festival, it drew nearly 10,000 spectators, standing out for its extensive program of over 40 performances.
