The Molinaseca Chestnut Roast is a well-established tradition that attracts more visitors every year.

Organized by the Molinaseca City Council with the help of local residents, it is always held on the second Saturday of November in the courtyard of the old school buildings. Visitors can watch as the chestnuts are roasted. Starting at 7:00 PM, roasted chestnuts, drinks, chorizo sandwiches, roscón (a traditional sweet bread), and hot chocolate are served at affordable prices, and attendees can enjoy live music. Other activities are organized throughout the day, such as the “Birth Forest” planting, where a tree is planted for every child born in the municipality that year, and a plaque bearing the child’s name is placed next to it.
