Held every second Sunday in August and designated a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest, this reenactment brings to life a traditional old-fashioned wedding, with the entire town taking part.
The celebration begins on Saturday with the bachelor and bachelorette parties, where locals and visitors share traditional cured meats and sangria, accompanied by the music of the drummer and folk dances.

On Sunday, the wedding takes place—a reenactment in which participants, dressed in traditional costumes, parade through the town’s streets, recreating every phase of the ceremony in detail, at a leisurely pace, and with great historical accuracy.
