The Seal
Quality and authenticity guaranteed
A commitment to excellence
The "Most Beautiful Villages of Spain" Seal is a tourism quality label that recognizes municipalities that meet rigorous criteria regarding heritage, conservation, and commitment to visitors.
Awarded by our association, the seal guarantees an authentic experience in every certified town. Currently, more than 126 towns across 17 autonomous communities bear this mark of excellence.
Each candidate town is evaluated according to six fundamental pillars:
- Architectural heritage — Preservation of the urban landscape and buildings of historical value.
- Historical richness — Cultural heritage and living traditions.
- Natural environment — Harmonious integration with the landscape.
- Local life — Resident population and economic activity.
- Sustainability — Conservation policies and compatible development.
- Visitor Welcome — High-quality tourism infrastructure.
We are part of the international network Les Plus Beaux Villages de la Terre, which brings together associations from France, Italy, Belgium, Japan, Canada, Switzerland, and other countries.
