The Chapel
The first church in this complex dates back to before 1414, when Benedict XIII, known as Pope Luna, spent the night there, as recorded in historical documents. In the years that followed, it underwent some modifications. As a result, construction work on the chapel has been dated from 1428 to 1436.
Starting in 1650, and especially in 1672, the idea of expanding the church emerged. Construction began in 1714 under the supervision of master builder Miquel Climent. The work lasted until 1738.
Finally, the current chapel dates from after 1940.
