This play by AMICO TEATRO, performed by Ion Barbarin and Txori García Uriz, humorously—and with respect for religious belief—exposes the assets the Catholic Church has registered in its name.
Two naive angels serve as the masters of ceremonies, introducing the various scenes. Altar boys, bishops, seminarians, land registry officials... A unique lottery where luck is determined by diocese, and the grand prize is the Mosque of Córdoba. The village priest washes his hands of the matter; a cheerful song plays about how easy it is to register real estate, and our angels watch this reality in disbelief from above.
