Dramatized performances of Corral de Comedias

For about 40 minutes, the Corral de Comedias in Almagro will come to life, attempting to recreate the ups and downs and mischievous antics of the Golden Age comedians, inviting visitors to enjoy a performance in the style of the comedies of that era.

Actors and the unmistakable voice-over of Fernando Fernán Gómez will transport you back to the era of the open-air theaters. In a fun yet informative way, you’ll learn about the Corral, its architecture, and its history.

Everyone is welcome to this unique venue, as it is the only one of its kind preserved in the world. This dramatized tour takes place on weekends and holidays throughout the year, except during the months of January and February, and during the Classical Theater Festival season.
