Award for the Restoration of Our Heritage for the Cieza de León Country House

The Cieza de León Rural House has received the 2026 Land of Opportunities Award. This national recognition highlights the initiative to restore a 14th-century Mudejar house and transform it into a place brimming with life, stories, and unforgettable getaways, while acknowledging the effort to keep heritage alive and promote rural tourism in Llerena.

The Tierra de Oportunidades Award is sponsored by Caixa Bank in collaboration with the Spanish Rural Development Network with the aim of promoting job creation, fostering rural entrepreneurship, and retaining population in degraded areas.
