 The City Council of Villanueva de los Infantes congratulates TURINFA for the success of the II Fair "We give it to you with cheese".

The City Council of Villanueva de los Infantes wants to publicly congratulate TURINFA for the magnificent organization of the II Fair "We give it to you with cheese", held on February 28 and March 1, an appointment that in this second edition is consolidated as a gastronomic and tourist event of reference for the Campo de Montiel.

Also, the consistory wishes to show its gratitude to all participating exhibitors for their involvement and for contributing to value the extraordinary quality of the food products of the region. In particular, it has highlighted the presence of Quesos La Casota, Tierras Rojas, La Encomienda, Elola, David Auñón, Dos de Infantes and Jamón Spain with Quesos Don Apolonio, whose participation has greatly enriched the fair.

The attendance figures reflect the growing attractiveness of the event: during the first day, nearly 90% of the visitors came from outside Villanueva de los Infantes, which confirms the important tourist impact of this initiative and its capacity to attract the public to the municipality. The Town Council is also grateful for the response and support of the residents of Infantes, who also wanted to enjoy the fair.

"We are facing an event that puts in value one of the most emblematic products of our land, with an extraordinary quality, in an unbeatable heritage environment and with an organization that each year gains in professionalism and projection", said the Mayor, Carmen María Montalbán.

The City Council of Villanueva de los Infantes has reiterated its support for TURINFA and the whole sector involved, encouraging them to continue working in the same line of collaboration. The municipal institution is confident that the next edition will achieve greater projection and consolidation, definitively establishing itself as an essential event in the provincial gastronomic calendar.

Also, the council has stressed that Villanueva de los Infantes maintains a firm commitment to those initiatives capable of generating economic activity, promote the external promotion of the municipality and strengthen pride in their products, traditions and identity.
