Alcúdia
Alcúdia is one of Mallorca's most unique destinations, whether in terms of history, geography or social dynamics. It is a town where history comes to life, with extensive archaeological remains of the Roman city of Pollentia and two ancient walls - one medieval and the other Renaissance - making Alcúdia especially attractive in this regard. Alcúdia was founded by King Jaume II in 1325, with the emperor Charles V granting it the title of Ciudad Fidelísima (literally translating as "Most Faithful City").
The municipality of Alcúdia is located in the northeast of Mallorca forming a 60.51 km2 peninsula between two bays, offering endless kilometres of coastline. In some areas this coastline comprises sandy beaches, and in others it is more rugged, with large cliffs.
As for the social dynamics, these are what has enabled the current tourist infrastructure, based on professionalism and diversity. Alcúdia offers tourists and visitors a stay full of opportunities: history, culture, beaches, mountains, a lagoon and the touch of fun they may be seeking.
