Ampudia

Ampudia was declared a Historic-Artistic Site on 1965 and was awarded with the C Tourism Prize in 1991 and the Provincial Tourism Prize in 2002. Its long history has seen periods of prosperity in the past that have left us with an extensive heritage legacy. It is a small, typically Castilian village, which still faithfully preserves its ancient structure, as well as its most representative monuments. Castle, church and nucleus have been updated (2010) these mentions to the category of Assets of Cultural Interest, in accordance with the most recent legislation on heritage.
