Visita guiada Mirambel

The urban center of Mirambel is one of the best preserved medieval ensembles in Spain, recognized as a Historic-Artistic Site and awarded with Europa Nostra in 1982. In just 4 hectares it preserves more than thirty heritage elements, such as walls, portals, towers, churches, convents, palaces and popular houses. Its main singularity is that the entire population is developed within the walls, maintaining an image virtually unchanged since the Middle Ages. The nucleus is organized around the old castle, the church, the main street and the walled enclosure, with five access gates, including the portal of the Nuns.
