Río Linares

The Linares River is a natural river course that crosses the municipality of Linares de Mora, in the Gúdar-Javalambre mountain range, and forms the backbone of the valley where the town center is located, in an environment of medium and high mountains at an altitude of over 1,300 meters above sea level. In this municipality of Teruel, the river marks the landscape and conditions the form of the settlement, with the town located on the left bank of the river. Its main interest is landscape and environmental: the river and its ravine offer a riverside corridor with vegetation associated with the water, embedded between mountains and pine forests, which reinforces the feeling of a well-preserved natural enclave.
