Description
This pioneering museum, founded in 1970 by the critic Vicente Aguilera Cerni, is one of the first contemporary art museums in Spain and is located in the majestic Palau del Batlle, a 15th century civil Gothic building. During the visit, visitors walk through its rooms to discover an impressive collection of more than five hundred works ranging from the mid-twentieth century to the present, highlighting as the main attraction the dialogue between avant-garde art and the historic architecture of the palace, as well as the presence of works by internationally renowned artists in a unique rural setting.
