Description
Converted into a parish church at the beginning of the 17th century under the patronage of Nuestra Señora de la Humildad, this majestic temple with a Latin cross plan and square tower stands out for its imposing baroque architecture, its unique zoomorphic gargoyles and its magnificent interior altarpieces. Restored in 1984 and declared a Historic-Artistic Monument, the church also has the highest international recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, due to its historical value and its close link to the Camino de Santiago.
