Description
Church of Santa María Magdalena Located in the Historic Site of Castrillo de los Polvazares, this baroque church can be chronologically framed in the eighteenth century. Built with the characteristic reddish stone of the Maragata architecture, it stands out for its slender belfry of double body that rises over the cobblestones of the village. It represents the most important architectural and spiritual landmark of this town historically linked to the Leonese muleteers.
