The Sorbas Cave is part of the Sorbas Gypsum Karst, a subway landscape of gypsum modeled by the slow dissolution of the rock and the circulation of water over thousands of years. The complex is known for bringing together more than a thousand cavities and a very unique karst relief, with dolines on the surface and interior galleries where gypsum crystals, stalactites and stalagmites appear.
